I talk a lot about the impact that meditating has had on my overall well-being. Meditation has helped me create space between myself and my thoughts, which has in turn made me aware of how crowded the mind can become. In this episode, I discuss how meditation has slowed me down by increasing my sense of awareness. I’d be lying if I said it was easy to implement this habit on a consistent basis. Something so simple seemed impossible to do at times, but that’s where the beauty of meditation shines most. When we meditate on a consistent basis, it becomes something we can’t live without because quite frankly, wondering how we live through the loudness of our minds seems far more perplexing. It’s as if chaos becomes more confortable and familiar than stillness. Meditation came to teach me that and so much more. While it slowed me down, it also made me much more efficient and productive with many different aspects, not just business. I became much more intentional when I began to enjoy the headspace because with stillness came clarity.
